Fridays just seem to come faster and faster. I hope everyone had a good week. We had a great time here on the farm with the animals and fresh air.
The water wheel. Tomorrow I will have more pictures of the water wheel and some pieces we found today from the old original water wheel that was in this exact spot over 100 years ago. So ya'll check back tomorrow for those pictures.
Luke the calf resting.
Annie and the baby goats at the barn.
Golden Polish chickens.
Silver Polish Chick
This is an old railroad cross tie from the railroad that once ran through our property. It still has the railroad spike in it. The track was taken up in 1932 so this is an old cross tie. It looks as if it was used for a fence post too.
Some Silver Sebrights, Buff Orpingtons, and Dominiques(domineckers) chickens.
Our lettuce and greens. We are so thankful to have all these wonderful fresh vegetables.
The birds are still doing their own thing and building their nest on the birdhouse.

The water wheel looks great, the animals healthy and the vegetables delicious.
I love Curious Jack. What a character!
I just love Fridays at your place! Have a great weekend
Everything looks so pretty... your lettuce and greens look WONDERFUL. Mine are still just little sprouts, but my cabbage is coming along good. Those silver sebrights are beautiful... I want some of those now. (tee hee) Hubby will kill me if he hears that. I don't think you can ever have too many chickens, though- they're pure entertainment.
I'm just glad Big Boy didn't make an appearance this week. :-)
Pam, am drawn to your barn. I don't know why but I'd love to have one and do it up and live inside it, just appeals to me. I agree with Jan about Big Boy :-)
The calf is so pretty. We are hoping to get cows one of these days. We are working on putting up pasture fence now. We have a wonderful stand of grass where the land used to be woods. So we have come a long way. This is what my husband wants so when he retires he has a farm to work.
dot in georgia told me about your blog. I love the polish chickens. I have wanted some but I have to many chickens now.
I always LOVE your farm pictures!! It looks like such a beautiful place!!
Have a wonderful weekend!

I was so excited when I saw your pictures yesterday that I forgot to leave a comment! I had to run over to Patsy's and tell her about your blog because I knew she would love seeing those chickens.
Great pictures and especially love the old barn.
Luke is so beautiful. I love these tours of your farm. It all looks so peaceful.
Love all the pictures, but especially the garden and chicken photos.
Your Sebrights remind me of my Silve Laced Wyandottes.
And I've fallen in love with the Polish and picked up some chicks today!!
And so it was great seeing your Golden Polish chickens because that's one of the chicks we bought, as well as a Buff Polish and two Silkies! hehe
So now we're up to 17 chickens.
Oh and we also brought home a dozen fertilized eggs for our broody Speckled Sussex....so who knows how many chickens we'll end up with now! hehe
Annie's babies bring a smile and Luke is beautiful.
Wonderful pic of Luke the calf.
and her Mom said,
What a beautiful Farm Friday post. I am so jealous you have a cow. I'm hoping to get my mini cows soon because I've always wanted one. Your garden is so far ahead of ours because we are still having frost at night.
I love the visit to your farm through pictures.
I think that "Luke the calf resting" is a prize-winning photo. Something about the set-up and perspective really makes it a "WOW" photo. Good job. Luke is gorgeous. Your polish are amazing looking. Their crests are beautiful. Only my hen, Dot, has a pretty crest...poor Pip, though, every day he loses more and more of his feathers from the pecky pecksters he lives with! :-(
