Farm Friday

I know you were thinking I had forgotten farm friday, but I have just been so busy. To make up for it I am starting with a new picture of the water wheel. We have done some more work around it and it is starting to look better. Of course we have a lot more to do.

Billy did some more work on the saw mill. We should be ready to saw lumber real soon.

We finished the putting the wire up on the new chicken pen this week and moved all the chickens.( See video on last post)

Annie and the Goats just can't stand that they can't get in the chicken pen too.

The weather has been in the high 90's here all week. Yesterday it was 99 degrees.
Annie and her babies enjoy napping in the warm weather in the head gate pen. The head gate we use to hold the cows/donkey/goats when they need medicine or their feet trimmed or special attention. It doesn't hurt them at all to be in the head gate.

It is a popular napping place. Lil' Annie and her baby enjoy a nap there also.
All the baby goats are really growing.

I finished up some Georgia BullFrogs and 1 Georgia GreenFrog(made from recycled material) this week also. I will be putting them on my Etsy site later next week.

Still in this hot dry weather I have flowers blooming.

It has been a busy week but we have accomplished a lot. We hope to do as much or more next week too.
I hope you all have a great weekend!

Hi,I can understand Annie and the goats wanting to get into the chicken pen, it looks really cool and inviting especially with the temperatures you have! Here in southern Ireland we are in early summer with 15% celcius!I was fascinated to see the Gladioli in your photo ,it is a very popular flower here too!.The water wheel is looking good too.

Those are some spoiled chickens! How lucky for them. The goats look happy too, how are the cows holding up? Especially that cute baby. We will be getting in the
90s for the first time tomorrow. It has been a very cool spring here.
