Meet Jack

Good Morning,
I know some of you have missed seeing Jack. Today is all about Jack.

Jack is a Mammoth male gelding donkey. He is around 7 years old and has lived here on the farm for 4 years.

Jack is quite the clown at times.

Jack's true love is Belle the Jersey cow. Jack really loves Belle. See more here.

I LOVE Jack! If it were up to me Big Boy would have a close encounter with Mr. Hoe so it's a good thing he lives in GA and not SC but Jacki s a beauty! OH...guess I should say Jack is HANDSOME. Sorry Jack, didn't mean to challange your manhood.

Hi I enjoyed seeing (&Hearing)! Jack. As a small child I spent holidays in the country with my grandparents and the donkey and cart was their method of transport. I thought it was brilliant listening to the clipping of the hooves. The first job every Sunday morning for my Grandfather was to catch 'the ass' which is what they were called in Ireland! Assal ( Ausall)is the Irish for donkey and it was a shortened anglicised version of the name.I dont think he ever had a name but he did look a dead ringer for jack! Thanks for the memories.

I didn't know how endearing a donkey could be. He seems so sweet and also somehow noble.

Such a beautiful, soulful companion! I, too, love him. He would certainly be mammoth compared to our dachshunds. I'd love to be able to have animals like goats and sheep and horses and donkeys and mules and llamas and chickens and a milk cow and beef cows....No chance..I will have to continue to live vicaiously through you and Lea, and Paula.....*sigh*

I LOVE Jack!!!
I can see why he loves Anna Belle. She's darling with her soft brown fur and big brown eyes. Is that her baby?

He is a big boy compared to that truck. wow! Mammoth indeed!

I was day dreaming about having a cutie like him all throughout your post, until I played back his message.

And then I was shocked back into reality why a donkey won't be living here. My neighbors would kill me! :(

So, please post more often on Jack, so I can get my donkey fix from you. :)

Do you milk Belle? I think a dairy cow will be in my future. Maybe even before anything else.
