When I was working off the farm one of the things I couldn't resist buying was Rugs.
The first one I bought was an oriental traditional look rug similar to this one.
I absolutely love Area Rugs.
They just brighten up and define a room. I have big rugs and little rugs scattered around the whole house.
The first one started out in the living room/family room. I then moved it to the dining room a while. Now it is in the kitchen

I like the way it looks on the hardwood floor in the kitchen.
The next one was more of a Contemporary Rug.
It is similar in colors to this one.
It didn't stop there. I just had to have more Rugs. I ended up with another traditional rug that has a hint of oriental in it. I like having the three area rugs because I am the type of person who loves to move furniture around from time to time. I change the rugs from room to room and it just gives the room an entirely new feeling and look without spending any money.
Since it is so far to any stores from our rural area, I have been looking on line at new rugs.
One site that has some beautiful Contemporary Rugs to choose from is PlazaRugs.com. I spent a good while looking at their site and found they have a huge selection of name brand styles and sizes at reasonable prices.
I also loved that PlazaRugs.com has free shipping in the U.S.A. listed on their site.
When Farm Man and I finish putting down our new hardwood floors, I think at least one new Area Rug will be needed. Maybe two.

We don't use many rugs in our house though.
I love rugs too and for the same reasons you do. Sometimes I just have to change things around! I bought my last rug at www.rugsusa.com and was very pleased with the service and prices. How did we ever shop before the internet??

You have fun, my friend. You buy all the rugs that make you happy. You could be doing worse.
You could be into collecting fancy expensive shoes.
But I bet there's not much opportunity to wear them on the farm, eh?
