The Golden Polish Rooster.
The one that got the biggest thrill for chasing me around the farm.
The one that would get a broom across his head as the result of chasing me around the farm. It wouldn't faze him at all!
The one that would crow and crow when he saw me. He couldn't wait to chase me and announced it to the world.
The one that left the farm Saturday.
FarmMan took the extra roosters and ducks to the livestock sale.
At the sale the chickens are tested by the Georgia Dept. of Agriculture for any disease. Our group all passed the test!
They all sold.
and FarmMan found this rocker for me at the same sale.
for about the same price as Bad Boy Rooster sold for,
I call that a good trade! A very good trade!

A mean rooster for a nice rocker..very good trade in deed! I like the rocker, very pretty! Well the rooster was too but as my Grandmother used to say...beauty is as beauty does! lol

Roosters CAN be so mean! Mean and ugly. That was a beautiful rooster, but to have a mean rooster gone and a neat rocker is place....sigh...now THAT is a good trade!

Bad Boy is such a pretty rooster, but having him chase you, I'm sure, was not fun.

My last bad rooster kept me pretty darn fit though. It was a pretty sucky way of getting the old heartbeat up, but he did keep me active!

That poor old rooster!!! Great trade, tho. I gotta say that I would prefer that wicker rocker to an annoying rooster. Someone must have thought he was a pretty good rooster......

You know how I feel about my own Golden Laced, Bearded Polish Roo, Sid Vicious.
So far he has a healthy respect for us humans and even gets along great with our Japanese Silky Roo.
I'm sure gonna miss that spunky Bad Boy.
But at least you didn't eat him.
